Artist Amanda Ferrell
When Amanda first discovered her artistic talent, it came as young as the fourth grade in elementary school. Through an assignment art project which contested against several other students in making a creative design for the school’s t-shirt logo. Without any intended ideals, Amanda gave her best efforts in sketching what came to mind. Unaware of the drawing she created, it sent her teacher in disbelief. She was mesmerized by what the she saw; and informed Amanda about her great talent. However, before this day, Amanda had no idea of what talent she held, or just why it caused such a commotion. To her it was just a simple drawing. But to everyone one else, it was truly an amazing self-taught ability. Nevertheless after the rave calmed, it was decided that the drawing was beautiful, but quite wasn’t what the school was looking for. For Amanda this day in time established a shining light to a new beginning, which started the lead her towards an artistic pathway.
As Amanda got older, popularity came through many of her drawings and paintings throughout school’s spirit and student elections. Her talent also led her to design, paint banners and signs for the outside businesses, events, and many church functions. However, in her senior year of high school things really went well when she switched schools districts. Then only Amanda real ability to create was recognized, and her imagination was allowed to shine through. Her first original pieces made third place in her new high school art competition. Although things seem to go really well for many of the past years before, however it was never informed until her senior year of the new high school that her artistic gift could really play a major part in her life as an inspiring career. Eagerly trying to make up for lost time, Amanda desperately tried to submit several art entries to become accepted to a qualified art school. Unfortunately her destined dream would be place on pause because of rejection, lack accredits and financial stability. As her expectations of life discourage her deeply, it would steer her life into another direction.
In 2005, while having one child and expecting a second, Amanda again found what she greatly missed. A single sheet of paper and a drawing pencil. Strength of mind in making her way back, she picked up where she once left off and began to create glorious art in the form of sketch drawings and original art paintings.
In July 2006, Amanda visions became more profound as her ideals overflowed and filled with great ambitions convincing her to push her artistic passion towards a business profession, in which she has now convert her talents into brilliant sustaining career today. Amanda has made amazing progress throughout her Los Angeles community, standing out like no other. Each day she is working very hard towards the development of new artwork and creations. She continuously incorporates her ideals, dreams, and goals in hopes of one day owing an amazing gallery of high sought out self signature collectables of art, greetings, designer jewelry, apparel and more.
